Surrounded on 3 sides by water, our coastline has been protected and preserved as a National Park since 1952 and remains the only UK National Park recognised primarily for its coastline.
If you want to try something new or have little experience, there are plenty of enthusiastic, qualified instructors who will be more than happy to share their expertise with you. Try a one day taster session or join a group for some more serious tuition. We have some renowned activity centres, who will encourage and inspire and a whole raft of instructors who will happily take you from novice to expert.
On dry land, Pembrokeshire is home to the world renowned Coastal Path which winds its way around the magnificent bays and spectacular headlands of the only coastal National Park in Britain. The 186 mile, 299km trek is a strenuous undertaking if you want to complete it from start to finish, you'll need 10 to 15 days. But most people walk a section at a time always vowing to return and complete the whole path.
What ever your activity of choice, you'll find it here in Pembrokeshire.
